O. Lawrence Stitt III, MD, FACOG
Dr. O. Lawrence Stitt III is a board-certified OB/GYN and nationally recognized expert in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Stitt specializes in advanced, fertility-preserving treatments for uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and pelvic pain.
A graduate of Meharry Medical College, Dr. Stitt completed his OB/GYN residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he received multiple teaching awards. He has held leadership roles in both private and hospital-based settings, including Medical Director of Minimally Invasive GYN Surgery at University of Maryland Capital Region Health, where he founded the hospital’s first Fibroid and Pelvic Pain Center.
Dr. Stitt is also a national educator and surgical trainer, working with industry leaders to advance fibroid treatment technologies across the U.S. His work has been featured on WBAL-TV, WJZ-TV, and WBFF-TV.
